This Isn’t Just About Resumes Anymore

I started with resumes. Now I'm helping people rethink their entire careers. If you’re mid-career and asking “what’s next?”—this is for you.

It’s been a while since I posted here—and a lot has changed.

When I launched Slay My Resume, it was all about helping people look good on paper. I loved it. I still love it. There’s something incredibly satisfying about turning a career jumble into a story that makes sense.

But somewhere along the way, the real work started happening in the conversations before the resume. The “What am I doing with my life?” ones. The “I don’t even know what I want anymore” ones. The “I just need something that doesn’t make me feel dead inside” ones.

And I get it—because I’ve been living it too.

After making my own career shift (from tech marketer to recruiter), I’ve had to sit in that same space of feeling stuck, restless, and unsure what the next chapter looks like. It’s not fun. It’s not glamorous. But it’s real. And it’s what a lot of us are quietly navigating—especially in mid-career.

So I’m shifting, too.

Slay My Resume is evolving. I’m still here for resume support if that’s what you need—but I’m also offering something new: 1:1 sessions for people who feel stuck in their work and want to talk it out, sort it through, and start moving forward—without needing to burn everything down.

Right now, I’m offering a beta coaching package—3 sessions, designed to help you:

  • Talk through what’s not working
  • Explore what might work better
  • Leave with an actual plan, not just a Pinterest quote

It’s $149 CAD for the beta round, in exchange for honest feedback.
If you're interested, email me at hello@slaymyresume.co and I’ll send you all the details.

More changes are coming soon. For now, I just wanted to say:
You’re not the only one feeling stuck. You’re not too late. And you’re allowed to want more.

I'd love to help you with your job search. Send me an awesome message and I will be in touch.

Thumbs up!
Thank you so much. I will contact you soon.
